The most economical form of city travel!

BIXI was created for short trips: usage fees encourage frequent utilization for short periods of time. First, you have to subscribe or acquire a 24-hour access to use the service. Take out a bike as many times as you want for 30 minutes or less with no additional fees; usage fees for longer trips apply.

How to use your gift certificate?

Your certificate may be valid for a yearly or a 30-day subscription.

1. If you are not already a BIXI member, Click on the gift certificate’s « Use now» button that you have received by email or on the « Subscribe » button found on the home page at www.bixi.com.
2. If you are subscribing, fill out the form. Make sure you enter the number that appears on your gift certificate. You must also inscribe your credit card number and its expiry date.
   
   If you are renewing your subscription, choose the type of subscription indicated on the gift certificate in your BIXI space and enter the number that appears on the gift certificate.
   
   If you are adding a co-subscriber, fill out the form in your BIXI space. Make sure the number that appears on your gift certificate is properly entered.
   
   For any use beyond 30 minutes, the moving fees are not covered by your gift certificate. You can also refer to the fees in the section subscription / fees.
3. If you’re registering or adding a co-subscriber, you will receive your BIXI key by mail, within a few days. The key must be activated at www.bixi.com.
   
   If you’re renewing your subscription, your key will be automatically updated.
